Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrive Paro, drive to Thimphu, visit the Buddha Dordenma statue and local market, overnight stay.
• Day 2: Thimphu sightseeing — Tashichho Dzong, Memorial Chorten, drive to Punakha, overnight stay.
• Day 3: Visit Punakha Dzong and the Suspension Bridge, drive back to Paro, overnight stay.
• Day 4: Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), evening at leisure, overnight stay.
• Day 5: Transfer to Paro airport for departure.

Important Information

• All foreign tourists require a permit and pay the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) set by the Bhutan government.
• The Taktsang Monastery hike takes 4-5 hours round trip; moderate fitness required (pony option available at extra cost).
• Bhutan can only be entered via authorised tour operators; documentation is arranged in advance.
